This May Work As Well as Ozempic and Metformin-Berberine

Have you heard of Berberine? 🙄

It’s been making the news lately…and being compared to Ozempic. WOW!!!  (More on that later).

It’s actually quite a remarkable compound found in plants like barberry, Chinese goldthread, goldenseal, tree turmeric, and Oregon grape. Used in traditional medicine for centuries, berberine has shown incredible potential in promoting overall wellness. And I’ve been using it for years to help my clients for the following reasons.

1️⃣ IBS Relief: Preliminary studies indicate that berberine may relieve those with irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), offering hope for improved digestion.

2️⃣ Metabolic Optimization and PCOS: Women with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) may find berberine beneficial for improving metabolic and endocrine markers, supporting their journey towards better health. This also means that it can help those who are struggling to keep their blood sugar in check even with lifestyle changes and don’t want to take Metformin.

3️⃣ Fatty Liver Support: For individuals with non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD), berberine, combined with lifestyle changes, has shown promising results. It can help reduce liver fat, improve metabolic function, and enhance lipid profiles.

4️⃣ Colon Health: Exciting research suggests that berberine may play a role in reducing the risk of colorectal polyps. And making it a potential ally for post-polypectomy care and chemoprevention.

With its antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, insulin modulating and atheroprotective properties, Berberine, I would say, offers a holistic approach to supporting a lot of what ails us! ✨ ⚠️

Have you explored the benefits of berberine for gut health, blood sugar regulation or PCOS?
