Day 12

I hope you are all finding ways to get plenty of fresh organic vegetables and brown rice to go along with your detox shake.

If you happen to eat out, consider ordering steamed vegetables and bring your shake along or if that is not apporpriate, then order some grilled chicken or fish.

On Day 12, you will start to add in more types of grain other that brown rice.

    When the detox is over how can I incorporate the shakes with my diet?
    Do you like the weight watchers plan to lose wieght?
    Do you have another plan to lose weight?
    I would like to lose 20 pounds.

    Feeling great with just the shakes is a good thing but I’m hoping that you’re including lots of vegetables as well for additional fiber and vitamins and minerals.

    Incorporating the shakes when detox is over is a very common practice. A shake in the morning or at lunch 4-5 days a week is a wonderful way to keep your body cleansed,

    I’ll comment further Weight Watchers in a bit. I’m not a big fan.

  3. Ford, just curious, are you looking to follow Weight Watchers for convenience of prepared food or for using their guidelines? After the remark that I made yesterday, I decided to take a look at their site and it appears that their “Momentum” program is on the right track. I can’t get into the website far enough to see exactly how the point system works. If anyone would like to share their thoughts please do so. Unless they have changed the ingredients of their packaged foods, over the past couple of years, I can not recommend them as there are preservatives, HFC, and hydrogenated fats listed on the ingredient list.

  4. I will post what I recommend as a very simple way of eating. If you would like to learn how to prepare good, clean, wholesome food, simply, I have cooking classes monthly. Watch for the next class for the month of August. July is already full.
