FAQ of Comprehensive Blood Work & Consultations
Blood tests come back normal, but you just don’t feel right?
‘Normal’ is not the same as optimal!
So you’re feeling off and your doctor orders some blood tests, but when the results come in you are told “everything looks normal”. Yet, despite this, you still don’t feel well and are convinced that something is going on.
If this sounds familiar, you are not alone!
This is actually a very common experience! And typically results from the limited conventional blood work that’s ordered and how it’s interpreted.
It’s not uncommon for people to start feeling unwell long before their blood markers move outside the traditional ‘normal’ range.
Even though you’ve been told everything looks great, your test results may be far from being what is considered optimal AND they are not being correlated to YOU, the patient.
Find out how things are looking under the hood.

Both of these companies offer something valuable yet different from what A Living Balance offers.
Both companies rely on numbers. I value relationships.
Function Health offers very comprehensive blood work-over 100 markers and a retest of some of the markers for a very good price. But testing is all they offer.
You’re left with no plan or protocol that’s specific to you. There’s no conversation with a professional to pair the lab markers with a person, YOU!
Lifeforce comes closer to what we offer but misses the mark, in that it’s cookie cutter in their recommendations and very little follow-up.
I have clients who have used these companies but found they needed more personalized attention and found what was offered limiting.
With our Option #1, You are taken care of for 9 months, including retesting, 3 consultations AND messaging in between the 3 consultations. You are supported from day 1!
They differ just slightly, depending on the age, sex and hormone status of an individual but here’s the basic list.
- Comprehensive Metabolic Panel
- CBC panel
- Comprehensive Thyroid Panel(TSH, Free T4, Free T3, Reverse T3, Thyroid antibodies)
- Homocysteine
- Apo B
- FSH and LH
- Hemoglobin A1C
- hs-CRP
- Insulin
- Iron panel
- Ferritin
- Hormone panel (Male or Female (pre or postmenopausal))
- DHEA
- Prolactin (men and premenopausal female)
- Vitamin D
- Lipid Panel
- Sed Rate (menopausal female)
This will vary depending on which markers were less than optimal on the Initial Comprehensive Panel. We like to retest those markers to see how they’ve changed along with how you’re feeling. This tells us if we need to make a few minor adjustments to your initial protocol.
