The Path To Aging
March 26 @ 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
We Seem to Age at Different Rates But Why?
Is it our genetics, or our eating habits, lifestyles, toxic load, or gut health? Well, yes-all of these (with genetics being the least determining factor.
Studies have shown that disease and aging it’s more about our Epigenetics (eating and lifestyle) than it is our genes.
But I think it’s even more than that, which is the premise of this image. Everything on the left side pretty much falls under the umbrella of epigenetics but as we move over to the list on the right, it changes into something else.
The things listed on the left-hand side of the image-(starting at the bottom) are sort of the low hanging fruit that most Americans and western medicine doesn’t quite get the importance of. And if we don’t pay attention to those things, we end up moving to the right which too often morphs into a two-headed monster as we move up that path. Even if we are paying attention, sometimes things come outta left field and we end up on the right hand side, through no fault of our own, and we have to be diligent to not stay there for very long.
Over the next weeks and months, I’ll be talking about each one of the Sign Posts listed on this Pathway and how they contribute to our Quality of Life as we Age. I hope you’ll walk along the path with me! AND I hope you find it helpful!
